Born in San Francisco in 1983, Christo Oropeza is an artist and cultural worker who opened up and runs Incline Gallery with Co-Founder and Co-Director Brian Perrin since December 2010.  He continues to guest curate some shows at Incline Gallery (766 Valencia Street), and annual pop-up shows in Mexico City.  Christo continues his work both at SFMOMA, as well as creating new artworks at his art studio in the Pacific Felt Factory artist complex.

Christo was recently awarded recognition in The YBCA 100, “…an annual compilation of the creative minds, makers, and pioneers that inspire our work at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Each year, our staff convenes to debate: ‘Who do we believe is asking the questions and making the provocations that will shape the future of American culture?'”
